Tax preparation
Returns filed right. Explained plainly. Done by me.
Individual, business, and multi state tax preparation. Flat fee. No surprises. Year round support included.
What I handle.
- Individual federal and state returns (Form 1040, all schedules).
- Self employed and 1099 contractor returns with Schedule C.
- Single member LLC filings.
- Partnership returns (Form 1065) and K 1 delivery.
- S corporation returns (Form 1120 S) with shareholder K 1s.
- Multi state filings, including part year and non resident states.
- Rental property, depreciation, and short term rental nuance.
- Amended returns (Form 1040 X) and prior year catch up filings.
- Stock, crypto, and investment reporting (Schedule D, Form 8949).
- E filing with IRS acknowledgement, and paper filing where required.
What I don't do.
I don't promise giant refunds I can't stand behind. I don't cut corners for speed. And I don't treat April as a volume sport.
If you're looking for a chain store experience, I'm not that. And that's the point.

How tax preparation actually goes.
Intake.
You upload documents to the TaxDome portal. I send a custom checklist based on your situation so nothing gets missed.
Prep.
I prepare the return, flag anything that looks off, and send you a plain English summary before anything is filed.
Review and file.
We review together, you e sign, I file. Then we talk about next year so April doesn't catch us off guard again.
The right fit.
- Small business owners with real books or willing to build them.
- Families with investments, rentals, or a side business.
- 1099 contractors and freelancers tired of guessing at quarterly estimates.
- Multi state filers who need someone who understands reciprocity and apportionment.
- Real estate investors with depreciation and cost segregation questions.
- Clients who plan to be with me for the next five to ten years.
The reverse filter.
- Bargain hunters looking for the lowest price in town.
- Anyone who wants a one off filing with no intake conversation.
- People expecting me to sign off on returns I don't believe are accurate.
- Clients who need instant replies at 10 pm on a Sunday.
- Anyone who wants to dodge reasonable IRS compliance.
If any of those sound like you, I'll tell you on the first call. No hard feelings.
What tax preparation costs.
Flat fees priced on complexity. You'll have a firm number in writing before I start. Rough bands below while final pricing is set.

Before you book.
Do you e file or paper file?
E file wherever possible. It's faster and tracked. Some state or amended returns require paper, and I handle those when needed.
What if I'm behind on returns?
Catch up filings are common. We start with the oldest open year, work forward, and figure out a payment plan if one is needed.
Will you explain my return to me?
Yes. Before we file, you get a plain English summary of what changed from last year, what drove your refund or balance, and what to do about next year.
What if I get an IRS notice after filing?
Forward it to me through the portal. I'll tell you what it means and what to do. Response support is included for returns I prepared.
Can you handle multi state returns?
Yes. Part year, non resident, and reciprocal states included. I'll walk you through the state mix before we file.
Let's get your return handled.
Short consult, flat fee, and a tax person who sticks around past April.
