Business services
Start right. Grow without tax surprises.
Entity setup, quarterly estimates, and the structural planning that keeps growing businesses out of tax trouble.
What I handle.
- Entity selection: sole prop, LLC, S corp, partnership. Which fits your situation and when to change.
- EIN registration and federal and state account setup.
- S corp election timing and reasonable compensation analysis.
- Quarterly estimated tax calculations so you never get caught short.
- 1099 contractor compliance and year end reporting.
- Sales tax nexus conversations for businesses selling across states.
- Owner payroll coordination with your payroll provider.
- Strategic planning for growth stages: first hire, first half million, first partnership buy out.
What I don't do.
I don't run payroll directly, and I don't handle ongoing state registrations in 50 states for you. I coordinate with your payroll provider and refer you to a registered agent service when needed.
Partners I trust.
When something needs legal drafting or a specialist lender, I'll tell you so. I refer out instead of stretching into work that isn't mine.
How the structural work goes.
Discovery.
Short call to understand the business, the owners, the revenue, and where you're headed.
Recommendation.
Written plan with entity, election, and timing recommendations. Pros and cons in plain English.
Execution.
We file what needs filing, set up the accounts, and build the quarterly rhythm. Then we stay in touch as you grow.
Good fit.
- New business owners wanting to start with the right entity.
- Profitable LLCs weighing an S corp election.
- Growing teams adding their first employees.
- Multi state sellers worried about nexus.
- Owners prepping for a buy sell, partnership add, or sale.
Not a fit.
- Anyone wanting aggressive or questionable tax positions.
- Businesses expecting legal advice. That's not what I do.
- Clients looking for the fastest, cheapest LLC filing and nothing else.
What business services cost.
Priced per engagement. Simple setups are fixed fee. Complex multi entity work is scoped up front.

$TODO: CLIENT / yr
Four calculations a year plus the check in calls.
Before you decide.
Is LLC the right entity for me?
Sometimes. It depends on revenue, profit, owner count, and plans. We'll talk through it and I'll give you a recommendation in writing.
When does an S corp election make sense?
Usually once net profit is consistently high enough that the payroll tax savings outweigh the admin burden. I'll run the numbers for your situation.
Do you handle the filings yourself?
Most federal filings, yes. State business filings I usually do with you rather than for you so you learn the flow. Or I coordinate with a registered agent if you prefer hands off.
What about sales tax?
I can help you understand nexus and register initially. Ongoing sales tax compliance in many states usually goes to a specialist platform, and I'll recommend one.
Can you set up my payroll?
I coordinate with a payroll provider like Gusto. I don't run payroll directly, and I'd rather you have a dedicated provider for it.
Let's set you up.
Short consult, clear recommendation, and a plan you can actually execute.
